About Us

Hello! My name is Danielle. I started Chattawax Candle Co out of my kitchen in 2021, after the worst of the pandemic was over. I have since grown quite a passion for trying out new techniques in chandlery. I am a full-time college student pursuing my Bachelor's of Science in Cybersecurity, and I am either working out or playing video games in my spare time.

I am committed to using as many sustainable and eco-friendly products as possible in the candle-making, shipping, and marketing process as possible.

About our candles

- 97% U.S. grown and processed soy wax.

- 3% U.S. collected and processed Organic Beeswax.

- U.S. manufactured premium fragrance oils.

- We pour to 10% fragrance load.

- All candles are 16 oz (one pound), double-wick.

- All candle colorants are mica-based.

- Made in the U.S. glass vessels. Please clean with hot water, Isopropyl Alcohol and reuse after candle has burned down! 

About our packaging

- We use recycled blank newsprint paper.

- All packing peanuts are made from 100% starch - just dissolve in water for no waste!

- Each candle is individually sealed with our custom stamp and a unique color blend.

- Jute twine or wool yarn is used to tie off the colorful tissue paper, selected to match the color blend of your stamp.

- Each order receives a linen goody bag of mixed wax melts, a candle care card, a business card, and is packaged with love and best wishes from our family to yours.

- Our break-apart melts are packaged in PET recyclable plastic clamshells for a uniform and easy measure; for you and the planet.
